Important Notice Regarding Past Performances -- July 23, 2007

Betpad.com has made the following change in policy regarding free past performances and other handicapping products available through BetPad.com: 
 

Please note that effective Monday, July 23, 2007, BetPad.com customers no longer need to call into Customer Service in order to have costs for downloaded Past Performances and other handicapping products reimbursed. Betpad.com will do this automatically, but please note that it may take up to 72 hours for reimbursements to hit your account. Please also see the following guidelines:

-Customers must wager on the track of the downloaded information in order to be reimbursed for those charges.
-Reimbursements will occur up to 72 hours AFTER the races from Past Performances downloaded have been run and wagering on that track(s) is verified.
-Harness PPs are not reimbursable.
-International PPs that are marked FREE are not charged.

If, after 72 hours, you still have charges related to Past Performances that you believe to be reimbursable, please contact Customer Service at (877) 238-7231.

BetPad.com Past Peformances and Handicapping Information Policy:

BetPad.com customers are entitled to unlimited daily FREE Past Performances and/or other handicapping information provided by Brisnet, provided that the customer wagers on those tracks the same day of the PPs that are downloaded. Only products with a maximum per card price of $3.00 (see the list of reimbursable products below) will be eligible for reimbursement. To be eligible, the PPs must be downloaded from the BetPad.com website and not directly from Brisnet.com. As before, customers must wager on the tracks of those cards downloaded in order to receive reimbursement.

New "Key Box" Option Added to Internet Wagering Platform -- June 4, 2007
 A new “Key Box” option is now available that allows you to quickly key a single horse in all spots of an intra-race exotic wager (Exactas, trifectas and Superfectas), without having to place separate part wheel tickets. The "Key Box" option is located at the same place where you select the normal "box" option during the wagering process.

A "Key Box" bet includes all possible combinations of a selected "key" horse(s) when combined with other "non-key" horses in a box bet.

For example, a $1 trifecta Key Box: 1 / 2,3,4. This Key Box wager would cost $18. It covers eighteen (18) possible combinations:

1 with 2,3,4 with 2,3,4 (six (6) combinations with the key horse finishing first)
2,3,4 with 1 with 2,3,4 (six (6) combinations with the key horse finishing second)
2,3,4 with 2,3,4 with 1 (six (6) combinations with the key horse finishing third)

To win a "Key Box" bet, a "key" horse must finish in one of the wager positions (e.g., 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in a trifecta) -and- "non-key" horses must finish in the other remaining positions of the wager.

The process would work exactly the same for exactas and superfectas. In the case of the exacta, the “Key Box” option would place two separate part wheel tickets. In the superfecta, the “Key Box” option would place four separate part wheel tickets.

Some customers may already be using this wager via the telephone, and may be referring to it as a “Banker” wager. The telephone operators at the wagering call center will continue to recognize “Banker” as the equivalent term to a “Key Box” wager.

Most international wagering offered at BetPad.com is NOT commingled (common pooled) into the host track's native pools.  In most cases, separate pools are established for international racing.  Because of this, please note that coverage of international racing features a video feed coming directly from the foreign track that may include odds, probable payoffs, prices, etc., that are NOT applicable to our customers.  In almost all cases, a graphic display featuring the odds, will pays, etc., applicable to BetPad.com account holders is overlaid on at least a portion of the screen.  Please refer to the “Live Odds and Wagering” section of our web site for the most accurate and up to date wagering info.  BetPad.com is not responsible for wagering that is made without the knowledge of the particulars of the pools involved for international racing.

 Host track regulations for Betting - August 10, 2006

BetPad.com relies on the host track to define each wager and determine whether customers receive refunds, post-time favorites, or consolations for exotic wagers. Each track is different and governed by the pari-mutuel laws of the state of the host track. We are governed by these rules and it is the responsibility of each horseplayer to know and understand the rules associated to each wager they make. Account Management Using the Detailed Account History Report

BetPad.com customers can put the power of advanced computing into the management of their wagering by accessing the Detailed Account History Report from the "Manage Your Account" page where you can analyze your betting history in a new and powerful way.

The reporting module allows members to look at their wagering history in many ways: By Date, By track, By Wager Type, or by any combination of the three. The system will calculate your Win %, Return on Investment (ROI), amount wagered, and Profit and Loss. Other features include:  

  • Ability to select multiple tracks. (use CtrL / SELECT keys)
  • Ability to select multiple wager types (use CtrL /SELECT keys)
  • Ability to download displayed data as a comma-separated value
    file for import into a spreadsheet, database, or custom application
    of the user's design (click on the "download" button)

BetPad.com joins the Safe Gaming System's Responsible Gaming Program
